Benefits Increase 3.8% Oct. 1

Benefits are increasing by about 3.8% for injuries sustained on or after Oct. 1, according to information that the Texas Division of Workers’ Compensation posted on its website. The maximum temporary income benefit, maximum lifetime income benefit and maximum death benefit are all increasing to $1,219 from $1,174. The maximum impairment income benefit and supplemental income benefit are both increasing to $853 from $822.
