West Virginia’s Intermediate Court of Appeals upheld a 1% permanent partial disability award for a worker’s knee injury. Case: Sesco v. Brooks Run South Mining LLC, No. 24-ICA-138, 09/04/2024, unpublished. Facts: Granville Sesco worked for Brooks Run South Mining LLC as a maintenance foreman. He twisted his knee while at work in June 2017. A claims administrator for Brooks Run’s insurance carrier accepted liability for a knee sprain.
