Governor Appoints Magda Derisma-Oyewole as Arbitrator

Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker on Monday appointed Magda Derisma-Oyewole as an arbitrator for the state Workers’ Compensation Commission. Derisma-Oyewole has been a practicing attorney since 2015 and focused on workers’ rights and government, the commission said in a statement. Early in her career, she represented clients in a variety of areas including civil matters, bankruptcy and employment disputes.
