The Washington Federation of State Employees and four interpreters filed a putative class action lawsuit against the Department of Labor and Industries over alleged unpaid wages for services provided to injured workers employed by self-insured businesses.
The union estimates that interpreters are owed about $380,000 for work that was done over the last three years, according to a report by a PBS affiliate in Seattle.
